the new national dream

Hail, Brave hearts!

The land is vanishing before our eyes. The wealth of the nation, plundered in waste. That vast expanse of beauty, the view of wonder for the weary eyes to behold, and peaceful rest for the tired body.
The soul yearns for the quiet sounds of nature, the sweet scents, the soft underlay of ground, and the soothing bath of life sustaining waters, for cooling swims on warm summers’ days.
Oh, the land, so precious and finite. It’s allure, with it’s awesome beauty and natural wonder, compels us to venture forth, with the same inspiration to adventure, as our forefathers. The grand land. The grandeur of the land. The wealth of the nation.
Lucky are we to be the caretakers of such greatness and beauty.

http://www.visitgeorgianbay.com/
The land that has called us for centuries, to marvel at it’s wondrous creation, to fulfill the dreams of adventure, and to capture it’s beauty on film and in art. The land that we share, with each other, with the great wild and with the world.
Who dares to enter the land and plunder there? Ringing our lakes with development, unaccessable to us, to the wild and to the world. Blocking out the view, the cooling waters, the beaches and the calm. Blocking out the meditative strength of peaceful rest by a sparkling lake. Blocking out the joy of swimming in fresh, cool waters, testing your strength against a wave, playing in the sand and marveling at the aquatic life, the small fish and the shy crayfish. Learning new skills, swimming, boating and snorkeling. Spotting new birds, identifying fish, shells and plant life. The awesome lakes, a learning playground for us all.
Oh, to be the almighty human, brilliant and daring! The investment in the land was so appealing, so enticing, so alluring. To be wealthy, to be rich, to be admired! The self conscious yearning of a life, craving the charmed achievement of social success. Wealth, money, prestige! Oh, to have it all! To be the almighty human! To be the prominent, the illustrious, the awesome, awe-inspiring human!
The plunder of the lake shore denies the rest. It denies the visitor and the great wild. Go to the parks, you inferior man! The gates to this lake are closed.
But you, bravehearts, rise to a different call. The nation is spent on foreign investment, on the gain of the massive fortune of international control. The wealth of tourism, a multi-million dollar venture, lost to foreign investment.
Hotel and resorts are your calling now. The all Canadian dream of cottage life and cottage grandeur, fade into the past as the family owned resort presents the new Canadian way.
Not merely a cottage, but a hotel, a resort, a fly-in remote location. The economic gain of this nation, for the international elite, is not some small cottage, but an investment into the multi-million dollar tourist market.
Where is your hotel? Where is your investment in the future of the country? Where is your economic gain?
A cottage in the wilderness is the ideal of Canadian life. Remote and prestigious and so, so exclusive. A cut above the rest, was once a wise investment, but the real prosperity went to foreign control.
Put your families onto an estate, oh brave hearts. It can be hotels, resorts, spas. All of these, support the economic prosperity of the country. They employ thousands of people in tourism and eco-tourism, making you, oh brave heart a prestigious owner and employer, learning many skills and trades and serving the surrounding community with jobs and promoting growth with happy visitors.
Tourism is a multi-million dollar word. A hotel, or resort on that lake, instead of a cottage, provides more wealth and uses less land. It teaches more skills and provides more educational opportunities than the cottage. Sports, book keeping, accounting, cooking, management and more. You, the almighty human, become a prestigious hotelier and manager, instead of just another cottager. A hotelier, who employs many people, who provides accommodation for guests and opens the nation to the world.
A resort owner, who helps to provide tourism to the local community.
Save your wealth, oh brilliant ones. This kind of investment in the nation, is greater economic gain, than the cottage. Greater for yourselves, for the nation and for us all!

The All Canadian Dream

Hail, almighty human

Cast your worries aside and lounge in peaceful comfort and restful relaxation, at the fine escape of your choosing. An awakening of senses, and the joy of prosperity, your family vacation property has it all. Awesome human, your lifetime challenge has been achieved. You linger over a fine view of vanishing waterfront on pristine, remote lakes. Ahh! the luxury, the joy of living, the peace and quiet of natures bountiful blessing. Awesome, good earth with its tranquil places of divine landscape and meditative stillness. The great wild holds you in its palm and you rest in the comfort of the creation of the great earth.
Warm summer breezes caress your skin and cool summer waters soothe the aching heat.
Summertime bliss, summertime, prosperity and summertime escape.
The chattering family moor the boat to the dock. Another round of watersports ended for today. The lesson of summers play, to swim, to fish,to drive a boat, paddle a canoe, water ski and play at water sports.
The cottage is the all Canadian summer time dream. An escape of infinite pleasure. Luxury, rustic setting, an achievement for only the wealthy to share. A cabin in the woods, where no other human dare to dwell. The toil and strain of business enterprise, of work and perseverance, of drive and ambition, of properly funded investments, and cleverly calculated risks. Now to achieve the all time Canadian dream. A cottage.
Hail, almighty human, you have it all. Side by side accommodation on vanishing lakefront. An exchange of place, from city to country, from neighbours to neighbours. To dangle your feet from a dock into the cool water and to call this simple act, paradise!
The rolling waves change your view, thunderstorms move in from miles away, the stars shine in the heavens above and what was once a remote getaway has become a semi-forested crowded retreat, with unending views of cottages and neighbours.
A speed boat interupts the quiet paddle of your canoe and the call of the loon echoes in distant memory. A Canadian tradition, a Canadian dream, the rights of passage to the moneyed world.
Hail brave hearts, look into your mind, waters for swimming and with varieties of fishes, but no access for you. The call of the loon, the racket of geese, the sounds of serenity and the remote wild, vanishing to the play and intrusion of motorized craft and overpopulated shorelines, filled with summer homes and islands filled with people. The escape into a different suburbia, from streetscape to waterscape, from overcrowded city into overcrowded country. Farther and farther, more and more remote, more development, more noise, less privacy, less tranquility, less peace. The awesome call to the wild, hurried by rush hour traffic, for miles and hours along speeding highways. Go north, along with all of the other hurrying humans, as they vacate the city for lakeshore retreat. To campfires and sing-a-longs, to parties and play. The crowded lakes of cottage country, entice those with the funds to escape.
To the wild! To the wild! Go north, to the wild! To fulfill the fabulous calling, of the needed wild paradise, and the still secure, all Canadian dream.

A Day for World Wildlife

Hail brave hearts
Peace amongst you on this day of celebration. A day for the earth to sing its songs of gladness and to fill our hearts with joy.
This is a day for us to take action against the plunder of the environment, against the devastation of habitat loss and against the vanishing land and the precious wild lives that it contains. The earth sings its songs of gladness for all of the lives it creates, for all of the creatures that inhabit this globe and live in the balance of the natural world. A predator, a prey, a tree or a flower, all are victims of habitat loss and environmental destruction. They are victims of pollution, of over development, of starvation and poaching. The wide variety of life forms becomes more and more limited as sensitive species perish from over harvesting, starvation, habitat loss and over development. They call out their names as they vanish into the archives. Lists of animals and plant life, gone forever into the unknown world of perished species.

http://sounds.bl.uk/Environment

Endangered wild life, rare species, animals struggling to survive in a world already so overpopulated with people that the sparse land can house no more.
Dead land, desert, rock, dead lakes, pollution, plastics, fuel, contaminants. Too much for the wild life of the world to bear. No where to find clean water to drink, no where to find fresh grass to eat. Insecticides, pesticides, poison. Contaminated food, contaminated soil, contaminated water. Forest fires, shale, rock and clearing. No where to find shelter, no where to birth this offspring. No where to live.
The sound of the earth mover rumbles in the distance. Run from the machinery of habitat destruction, fire and smoke, it sears our eyes and burns our lungs. The forest is gone, the thickets are cleared, our bellies are swollen from pregnancy, but where to go to birth this calf. What to eat, as the grasses die, where to lie down as there is no shade.
The tiny ones can run no more. Their new legs so awkward, struggle to move. Their tiny hearts and panting breath, they cannot take another step. Their weary bodies, from too much exertion, lie down and rest to sleep some more. Where to find that needed shelter, shrubs and thickets to curl up in. Hours old, the tiny ones can only rest. Run? They can’t run. Hide? Where can they hide. The warm thickets that protect their small bodies die of harvesting and disease and the babies have no where to go.
Tiny offspring, who struggle to survive, your lives are hard enough. The natural balance of predator and prey, fills your lives with fear and hardship. But now, where to birth that new offspring, where to protect that tiny life?
The starving mother lies in stillness as her body consumes that tiny embreo. No food for this offspring, it won’t be born.
One day to celebrate the salvation of the planet. A day for world wildlife and environmental protection. Hear us almighty human, as we raise our voices, for the call of the wild.

The Moral Almighty Human

The Moral Almighty Human

Good morning brave heats.

Rise to the glory of this day and shine with the sun. Here is this day of exploration, of a land of challenge and a life for the strong. A day of exploration, of business enterprise, of the power of peaceful negotiation, of glory, of courage, of peace, not war. You almighty human chose freedom without a fight, freedom the hard way, freedom without conquest.
So easy, the path to war, where the strength of the man is measured in slaughter, so easy to condemn and fight, so easy to ignore and complain. The easy way to riches is to plunder and destroy, with greed and shame and humiliation. So easy to victimize and abuse, so easy to fall into the trap of selfish conquest, of denial of rights, of denial of the human. So easy to fight a war for nothing. All for plunder.
Oh fine human, with clever understanding, that the path to glory comes with negotiation, not might. The might of the powerful aptitude, of a good mind and strong, healthy spirit, of the human of courage and humanity. To be the daring human, whose conquest is in the strength of a compassionate people whose lives are valued, whose negotiations are strong and who live with the strength of the moral, almighty human.
The daring quest of merchant enterprise, of trade, of business, of employment. A set of skills that won the heart of the land, that generated wealth, privilege, honour and prestige. This is the moral almighty human, called to a destiny in this land.
For who are you, with the arrow and the sword, that counts his place from a stand behind weapons. Who are you who charges with might, who plunders and ruins, the human a foe. Who are you, whose peaceful conquest is the result of rage and ruin, war and famine, starve you victims, starve! The mighty cry in warfare, the path to ruin and destruction is theirs, and the final blow to humanity is the defeat and humiliation of despair. Yes, almighty ones we will succumb to terror and anger and hardship and war. Yes, almighty ones, we are despised and victory is yours, you conquer us.
Hail to the brave nation whose path to conquest is merchant enterprise and peaceful exchange. Barter and negotiation, marriage and prosperity, a nation built on relationships and works and deeds of the honest human.
No plunder, no war, only the life of the adventurer, the entrepreneur, the skilled negotiator and the crafty businessman.
Hail to the MORAL almighty human, whose hand was extended in brave friendship. Whose strength and courage was peace and understanding, marriage and exchange, family and friendship. No war between the intelligent human, no slaves, no conquest, only the strife of the hard landscape and the burden of the harsh reality of the land.
Oh moral human, who saves lives and lives in loyal, honest friendship. Whose strength and courage was peace amongst us. The courageous human, willing to negotiate. Peace being stronger than war. It saved us then, it saves us still.
Praises to the moral almighty human.
There are no links to other sites, today, the moral almighty human is the peacekeeper amongst us.

To the Almighty Human

To the Almighty Human

good morning Brave hearts!
Welcome to the thrilling adventure of this day. Precious day, whose time unfolds in minutes and hours of pressing passing. Only a minute, only an hour. How to spend this precious day. In random idleness, in deliberate pursuits, in work, in play, in love in adventure. To sleep in, to rise early, to fulfill a passion, to merely dream. To focus on an objective, to rise to glory, to stumble, to fall, to resurrect oneself. The day presents the gift of giving, a fine and glorious day.
Dedicated time, just for you, to be used wisely, or to be languished away, to hone skills or to waste. The choice of this day is a call to your strength, to your fine aptitudes, to your brilliant quest. Each day, used wisely, properly fulfilled is a lifetime of achievement, a lifetime of personal bests, a lifetime of raising the bar and setting a goal, just out of reach, but reach for it you will. The constant pursuit of achievement, of success, in just minutes, or hours of a day.
Choose your paths wisely, oh great ones. Of the multitudes of experiences to choose for you living, choose wisely, oh brave hearts. One more skill to add to your collection of self fulfillment, one more skill for your personal accomplishments, one more skill to add to your directory, one more skill for a lifetime of success. It comes to you with this day.
This lucky day, brought to you by the rising sun. The universe calls your name, oh human and you rise to this day with the acceptance of your dutiful calling. Another day, in war or peace?
Tread softly on the great planet, oh brave hearts. Your destiny is fulfilled with each passing day. The minutes and the hours count for a life of worthwhile living. A life of success and adventure. Cone out into the playground of the world, oh great ones and fulfill the calling of your mind.
Here us! oh great human, calls the thriving planet. We are your salvation, your joy, your quest in life, you personal experiences and your challenge. What will be your adventure for this day?
Choose us! calls the great landscape. Come out to the adventure of your life. As is the past of your great ancestors, the wilderness called your name and the mighty responded. The ancient lives of our forefathers fought the rapids, dared the glaciers, carved paths of destiny through the snow. The lives of chilling adventure, of thrilling achievement, of success of the mind and body, of a pursuit of skills and enterprise.
To follow a path of such daunting challenge, to whereabouts unknown. To test their skills, their strength, their courage, their negotiations, their humanity, their common sense. Where does your life take you? To courage and sensibility, or to war and shame. To fight for the great freedom of the joy of living, or to fail and flounder in despair.
Hail, brave hearts, praises to the great negotiation. As the sun rises on this day, it will be a glorious day. Another skill sharpened, another test passed, another success. To remember your ancestors, who rose to each day, to fulfill the quest of the mighty man. A nation explored, a peoples who were generous and the conquest of personal challenge and personal might.
To your achievements, oh brave hearts.

The Wolves of Yellowstone

Good morning Brave hearts!

The adventure begins, again! Lofty souls with high aspirations, lofty minds with virtuous goals. The spirit awakens to the joy of the day. A beautiful day, filled with the radiant beauty of the Earth.
Oh powerful orb of life in the universe. The creation of another day is the awakening of the dawn of life. Persistent animals and persistent plant life, thriving on a planet so amazing. The persistent planet, creating life, throwing more and more of its creation onto it’s surface. Live all creatures, sighs the great planet. Each and every one of you has it’s place on this great Earth.
The interconnection of ecosystems as they thrive in abundance, comes from the delicate balance of survival. The fittest are strong at each level of the food chain and the lush and nourishing environment survives.
A success story emerges, from a land of protected wilderness. The cry of the wolf as it sings its song to the Earth. It’s song of thanks and survival in a land of previous desolation to this wild animal. A land of previous culling and constant hunting and extermination. A land where the wild were no longer understood and the call of the wolf died in eerie silence. Gone from the land, gone from their lives and gone from the great wild.
Now the majestic beast has returned, reintroduced to a hostile and foreboding land of merciless hunting. Now protected instead of despised, the healthy hunter has regained the wild.
Hail, almighty human, for the understanding of the will of the great planet, for death no more to the mighty hunter, for research and experiments and environmental protection. The call of the wolf as it sings to you on this day. We are saved!
The experiment in Yellowstone National Park in the United States tells a tale of wildlife and landscape interconnection that hails of the virtues of this predator. The thriving, healthy population of the wolves has changed the land in Yellowstone and increased the beauty of the Earth in this park. The healthy predator, culling the week, preventing overpopulation of its prey, preventing over browsing of shrubs and trees and allowing the growth of saplings and regeneration of the forest.
An interesting experiment in wildlife interconnectivity. Why did the great Earth create the wolf? To sustain it’s environments, brave hearts, to send the predator into the wild, to protect the great landscape. To protect the forest and the other wild animals. The interconnection of life in the wild.
Hail, almighty human, for the wisdom of this fine and brilliant experiment. For the protection of the wild and the great beauty of the Earth. For the lives of the great hunters sing in joy and praises. We live! Our pups will be born this spring and we no longer starve!
Praises almighty human, you save us!

Valentine’s Day

Good day, you awesome human.

A morning of special delights, where the world calls you and you rise to the joy of another day of life well lived. A holiday. A day of love and kindness. A day to remember that special someone who makes the world a wonderful place. A day set aside to remember the joy of sharing, the compassion of each day, the companionship and the affection. The security in a world where love resides.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UDDoAcHZX8c Valentines Day in Jasper National Park

Great human, all of life needs your love. All of life, needs your attention, your affection, your nurturing and your caring. All of life needs your awareness and kindness. All of life calls to you and all of life craves your support.
Brave human, tread so softly on the great planet. That tiny, wounded life calls to your heart and your mind. Save us, almighty human! Don’t let us die!
The wondrous planet sends life to it’s surface for us to explore, to enjoy. That beautiful great land, with so much abundance of life, of love, of giving and sharing. The world, so full of awe and wonder. The world so full of life and adventure. The world of the creation of the Earth. Of splendor and glory and magnificence.
Plunder not, oh great human. This glorious great Earth is a masterpiece of life and living. The joy of creating, the duty of care.
Whose world is this, almighty human? Where you, almighty man, have gifts of emotion of happiness, of compassion, of kindness, of affection and of love.
See the world for the oasis of life that it is. One small planet in a galaxy of rock and dust, where no other humans can live. Here, on this tiny planet, where the Creator casts it’s mysterious spell and life forms thrive in abundance.
The Earth sings with the joy of the living planet. It sings with all of it’s heart for the love of living and the joy of their being. The tiny ones, obeying and dutiful to their call, the mighty ones, protecting their place and securing the destiny of the landscape.
They are the creation of the Earth, their rightful place is among us, with us, in our soul. Their presence makes us happy. Another awesome creature, a dutiful life with a deliberate purpose. It’s creation, to fulfill it’s own destiny in the landscape that it inhabits, like us, great human. A life of purpose, created to fulfill it’s own calling.
Hail, great almighty human, for you have loved and you have conquered. Your superior aptitudes and skills are proven. All others acknowledge your might.
Hear us, sing the Earths creations. The joy that our lives are. We too have a great gift to share, we too have a place on the great planet, we too have love and kindness. We too, have emotion and our lives are difficult.
You, great human, on this wonderful day of love and kindness, have peace between you. No wars are fought, no turmoil, no pain. The kindness of the day, for you and for us.
Happy Valentines Day.

Ancestory

Good morning Brave hearts!

Rise and shine! The world awaits you on this glorious day of fun filled adventure and grand survival. Hail to you, almighty human, for the far reaches of your destiny and for the clever intellect that saves you there.
Here, in the far north, resides the inventor. Clever human of specialized skills who lives in remote, but inspiring circumstances in the awesome and wondrous far north.
The inventor, who’s skills have saved them from the cold, from starvation and from isolation.
Scrape off your vehicles, run the engine, pull out the snow blower, shovel, shovel, shovel. The life in winter has it’s moments of back breaking hard work, icy sidewalks and treacherous driving. Pull out the sand, the salt, the ice melters. Let the plows pass to clean the streets. The snowy, blowy, frosty winter is upon us.
Hail bravehearts, to the brilliant lives of our forerunners. To building igloos, to building kayaks, to catching fish and to harnessing dogs. The life of the land was a hard one and the brilliant inventor survived by necessity, cunning and ingenuity.
The howling dogs greet their masters in the snowy morning. Dogs for hunting with and for pulling sleighs. Dogs that make their lives easier by transportation and pulling cargo. Dogs, harnessed to sleighs for sport, hunting, travelling and carrying. The dogs are a savior to the aboriginals of the far north. They carry far more than anyone could ever carry on a pack and travel more quickly and more efficiently. Dogs and man, an age old friendship, for dogs willingly accept habitation amongst humans and comply with training.
The dog sled was invented in approximately 800 BC by the Thule peoples of the Canadian high Arctic. Ancestors of the Inuit, the Thule people carved a niche in the far north, migrating hundreds of miles to their destination across the Canadian arctic. They traveled all the way across the continent of North America from Alaska, to new worlds on the other side, as far as Labrador. In the cold, snowy north, where game is plentiful, snowfall high and temperatures plunging to cold minus’s, these adaptive peoples resided.
The allure of the land held them captive and they lived on the abundant, prosperity of the gifts of the earth.
Clever aptitudes, building whale bone housing, covered with animal skins, or sod houses, or igloos. The inventor kept the cold at bay with warm housing made from the materials at hand.
Hail to you, oh brave hearts of the far north, for inventions that saved you, for perseverance and cleverness, for your great adaptability to a harsh and unforgiving climate in a land of awesome wonder and beauty. The ancient peoples of our nation resided in some of the harshest and most extreme climates in the world. Not mearly to survive, but to live and to thrive in dangerous and remote places.

The Kayak

Good Day, Brave hearts!

Rise to the early morning need of daily sustenance. Your food awaits you in the refrigerator, the freezer, the cupboard, the pantry, the kitchen, the grocery store and the meal is cooked on the stove, in the microwave, the kettle, the oven, the coffee maker. Your adrenaline soars and your spirits rise as the smell of your morning brew awakes you, from Guatemala, from China, from Venezuela, from India, from Columbia, from Thailand and the brands are from other sources all world wide as our morning starts with international brews from all over the world. International trade has given us a boost to start the day and out of the house we go.
But wait, what did you say? The morning starts with the catch of the day? You rise at day break, but there is no dawn and you set out on ice flows to catch a fish, or a walrus, or a seal? You rise at whatever time your biological clock rouses you and you put on your mukluks and warm winter clothing and venture out to catch your mornings feast. The blast of cold air awakens instantly and the hunt is on.
The voices of fellow hunters call and the companionship that binds and protects creates the security of the small band.
Here in the far north the hunters pick up harpoons and kayak and prepare to enter the Arctic ocean, for the catch is just off shore.
4000 years of Arctic dwelling has left these experts to a life of fortitude. The craft, a kayak, is an invention of theirs, 4000 years of ocean hunting and 4000 years of kayak building.
The craft is made of wood, or driftwood, or bone with seal skin stretched over the shell. The paddle is made of wood or bone and the clothing of sealskin to repel water. The skin spray skirt keeps the water out and keeps the boat dry in case of capsizing. The famous and necessary Eskimo roll was first performed by these Inuit hunters.
The Inuit are the inventors of the kayak and have been using these specifically made boats for thousands of years. Each man has a boat of his own, made to fit him perfectly.
In an area so remote as Greenland, Baffin Island and the northern Arctic coastline of Canada, where these people choose to dwell.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kayak

Now, with harpoon and kayak, the great hunter can catch walrus, fish, seal and whale. The necessities of life.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MTGGHBq5je8 A History of the Kayak and the Eskimo

Although this film is about Alaska, it gives a good depiction of the life of the Inuit, which would be typical of Canadian history as well.

You, almighty ones, are chosen. Chosen to dwell in lands of adversity, of difficult climate, of constant change. That land, that barren oasis, is filled with possibilities for the persistent mind. The earth puts you there, almighty human, like it plants its trees and sends its wildlife. Nurture and care, oh caretaker of the planet, you are needed where you survive and live and dream and love.
