The Brave

The Brave

To be brilliant, we need a forum for our aptitude.  An arena to vocalize in some manner.  We need a contingency of experts to hear us, to applaud, to praise and to acknowledge.  We need our voices to be heard.

Through the thousands of years of human history, our voices have been acknowledged by our fellow man.  Hear us, we call to each other, our splendid negotiations keep  peace amongst us and our lives never fail.

SSSh!  There’s a secret.  Our technologies are superior.  The vast oceans have been transversed and a new land is discovered.  Our superior technologies and our superior negotiations surpass all.  We are the bold adventurers who discovered a new continent.  It’s not an island, it’s a land mass.  The oceans surrounding it’s shores are filled with sealife.  So much food, we’ll never starve.  Our nets are cast and they never come up empty.  They overflow!  Food.  Food for everyone and perhaps, a colony?

http://www.history-timelines.org.uk/places-timelines/09-canadian-history-timeline.htm

The first adventurer to discover this land, the bold, the daring, the brave.  So much courage to set sail for sights unknown, to travel the great distance with such obvious perils, yet to persevere.  On and on to travel (with lost confusion?) possibly.  Hopeless, forlorn?  To battle the waves, the wind, the current, the time, the hunger, the fear.  Yet to travel on.  Somewhere, there will be shelter.

The new land was a relief and by the skills of their intelligence, they could find it again.  Technological experts of their time, they were equipped for sea travel.  The ocean was also a home, of sorts, so familiar, so abundant.  It kept the sailors perpetually occupied.  So much to see, so much to know.  Exceptional navigators, they always had their berings right.  The life of the sailor was the life of a daring, unsurpassed adventurer.  So much to know, so much to experience.  The navigator, the sailor, the specialist at wind and current, the immense expanse of universe in the stars, the far off places, the challenge of unknown people, places, language, culture. The superior call to a daring, brilliant mankind, who dared it all.

Yes! The call to the wild.  Yes! the call to a challenge beyond the ability of the average man.  Yes!  The call to the dauntless, bold adventurer whose bravery was unparalleled.  Yes!  To find new continents.  Yes!  To find new treasurers.  Yes!  To the wealth of knowledge, wealth and treasures of the world.

No to anarchy.  No to slavery. No, to life that is complacent, quiet.  No to the homebody.  Yes, only to the adventure and whatever life its brings!

They will travel the seven seas.  They will forge new relationships.  They  will conquer new lands.  They will swim in unchartered waters.  All perils will be overcome!  Yes!  They will achieve,  Yes!  They will.  Nothing will stop the relentless adventurer!  Nothing will quench that spirit!

They paddled their ships to the new world.  They paddled for discovery.  Later they sailed.

Hail mankind.  The brilliant fortitude that gives  you the strength to travel onward, gives you the courage to persevere.

Praises mankind, for all you’re worth.

Good Day, You Awesome Human

Are you ready for this day?  This day is the start of the adventure of your life.  Look into your mind, almighty human, your destiny awaits you there.  An image will form, that presents itself to you.  This is your guide.  It will lead you in the direction of your calling.  Follow your guide.  Your guide will put you in the place, in the field of study and in your correct aptitude.  Your own brilliant mind will show you the way.  Follow.  This is your path, your calling.  This is your life.

Today is a day for the joy of living.  Stretch your legs and follow your path.  It calls to you endlessly.  Listen! calls your own brilliant mind.  I will show you the way.

Since the dawn of man, experts have arisen amongst us.  They’ve always known where their destiny lies, they’ve always followed a course somehow set in their minds, they’ve always known what to choose, where their place is, what environment to seek, which people to seek out, what  courses to take.   They take initiative and make their own decisions.  They follow that inner path that is so compelling.  It draws them.  It pulls them to achieve.  Listen to that call, it resides in your mind.

The dauntless human that carved his way through the landscape of this land, was called to adventure.  The life of the daring pioneer, who could surpass the obstacles of weather, crop failure, isolation, weakness and poor health.  A strong and mighty human, with will and courage.  This was the call to the new world.  It was a call of passion.  Come.  almighty human!  Come, you daring adventurer!

And come they did.  To the land of plenty.  A promise of sorts.  Land and prosperity.  Freedom.   This will be your great reward.  A whole new world, a whole new life, a new beginning.  Come, brilliant mankind, come to the adventure of your life.

The land was immense.  The forests, virtually untouched.  A rugged and sparsely populated land with dangers yet unknown.  The place was isolated, so, so very far from home.  Far from civilization as they knew it, far from friends, family, comfort, care.  Far away in a time of its own.  A far off place.  A proven point, now mute.  Who, but the most daring would set foot on this unknown land?

Come into the forest, calls the wild.  The mighty adventurer came ashore.

http://www.canadahistory.com/timeline.asp

The oceans were filled with fishes.  Each cast of the nets were laden with fish.  Food.  Food for the hungry back home.  The land was filled with wildlife unheard of and previously unseen.  Meat and pelts  for markets back  home.  Home.  The lonely hearts of that daring man, turned their gaze back to the sea.  Home.  The strength of their own homeland compelled them and they re boarded their ships and sailed for  home.

Their journey of a lifetime left its mark on their brilliant minds.  Next time.  The land called to them, come again and in their minds they heard a voice.  Next time.  A relationships was near at hand between the mighty adventurer and the new, immense land.

They would come again.

Spring

Spring

Spring

It’s spring and as your view turns from winter to summer, enjoy the progress!  From fresh, vital, cold white winter to green, blue scented spring.  The early crops will save you and the land warms to summer promise.

You,  the dauntless being, whose unfathomable aptitude has you wading into the near frigid waters already.  That one day when the temperature warmed to 26 degrees and the sun melted the passing clouds.  There was that one day at the beginning of May, when winter vanished and summer started.  That one day.

Here, in our mountainous terrain, the pristine lakes are cold and clear, the nesting ducks hasten away from our passing by.  The birthing season is upon us.  The nesting eagle guards her  perfect nest, the ausprey returns to hers  for yet another year.  It is the season for our senses.

http://www.ducks.org/

Smell that delicious spring air, with all of the perfume of flowers, the aromas of  mosses and earth.  Hear the excited calls of mating birds as they gladly build nests and cozy homes.  The chicks call for food and test their tiny wings.  The wild animals bring their small children out to play.  Rolly,  polly  baby bears.  The new tiny fawns of elk and deer.  Small lambs and kids from sheep and goats.  The wild life start to show off their own creations with pride.  Picture perfect tiny ones with proud, watchful mothers guarding close by.  The serene family circle of adults and young, protective and nurturing, the vulnerable offspring, threatened constantly.

http://ecobooks4kids.wordpress.com/photo-gallery/

Our travels into the countryside reveal a promising bouquet of wild flowers.  The wildlife treats us with suspicion as we pass their secure, secluded hideouts.  Strangers!  They call.   Their unsettled wresting awaits the new day.  A tiny birth, another life, more promise, more protection, more creation.

The great diversity of life swells from the earth, the blooms awaken from nodding buds and a bare landscape turns lush with colour, flowers, butterflies, birds and animals.  The changing colours of the trees freshen the forest.  The swelling rivers flood their banks and the tumbling sound calls us to listen to the water.  The sound of the planet, the meditative stillness, the negotiated peace.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rTN8frhWOlA for water meditation.

Our casual encounters with wildlife remind us to be wary.  That docile doe is a formidable opponent when her dear offspring are disturbed.  Her own casual aloofness is a decoy to lure the hungry predator from her prized fawn and the quiet still baby hides motionless.  The wild.  The interdependent chain of existence. The constant strife and struggle for survival.  The daily portrayal of the circle of life.

Here, in this special protected place, spring is upon us!

Brilliant mankind, they call to us. Protect us!  Our lives are hard enough.  Predators, pollution, environmental disasters, habitat loss, encroachment, harsh climate.  All of our lives devoted to our own survival.  Help us, they call to us.

No plunder,  no destruction, nurture and care.

Art

Art

From the eye of the artist, behold the splendor of the Earth.  The fabulous landscape, the brilliant colour, the diverse life forms.  All of the luxury of the world presented in a creative way, the impression of beauty by the skilled aptitude.  Skills in painting, skills in fabric, skills in woodworking, skills in colour, design, creativity.  The human mind aspires to create beauty, to achieve luxury, to behold and to be acknowledged for skills.  The  skill creates the beauty, the luxury.  The eye beholds the wonder of the earth and the skillful aptitude of the creative mind produces yet another inspired gift.  Be it craft, art, craftsmanship.

Mankind seeks dyes and paints from nature to reproduce the fabulous colour portrayed in his environment.  Adornment is essential.  Paint for faces, inks for tatoos

From time immortal, when the human was new, they communicated through art.  A hunting scene , a family group, a dwelling, a story.  History left behind for us to catch a view of the life of early man.  A man adapted to the land, to the gifts of the earth.  A man who was daring, skillful and adept at survival.  The human, who also knew leisure and how to devote their time to luxury.

A fabulous fur coat, a outfit made of skins. baskets made of reeds and sweet grass, headdresses  of feathers, baskets adorned with quills and moose hair tufted embroidery.  Lavish possessions from the earth.  The obvious life with all of this luxury comes from time.  A people who have plenty and who have time to devote to art.

http://www.native-languages.org/quillwork.htm

Since 800 BC the Huron people farmed.  No longer tied to nomadic lifestyles, mankind now has settlements, community, harvest and time.  Time for inventions, time to sew, time to play, time to make canoes.  They had time to enjoy being human and time to pursue all aptitudes.  Time to sing, make an instrument, devote to sport, worship and cherish.  Time to form a culture, a lifestyle, cook and create.

http://www.native-languages.org/totem.htm

The mind of the skilled cook becomes a chef, a skilled herbologist becomes medicine, a skilled sportsman becomes games, hunting and canoeing.  The people of the Americas were inspired by the landscape that surrounds them.  Great works of art depicting the wildlife they encountered.  Quillwork from porcupine quills that adorned baskets.  Later, beadwork became prevalent because it was easier to work with and more supple.  It could be incorporated into clothing, moccasins, purses, coats, headdresses and tools.  A simple small object with so much importance.  Beads replaced quills in some usage because it is more versatile.

What is art, but an expression of ourselves.  The artwork of our nations ancestors depicts a  human with time to enjoy the bountiful beauty of the Earth.

All of mankind pursues their aptitudes to the highest attainable level.  Ever into the past, the  highest attainable level  of thinking, for that brilliant human.  Ever into the future.   All across the world the human mind aspires to heights yet unaccomplished, feats dared but not tried.  The human pursues the dauntless challenge of courage.

The People

The People

Good morning, mankind. Good morning, brave new world.

Ours is a world of adventure, built from a society of healthy, adapted people who met the challenge of life in the unchartered wilderness. A society of people who greeted the wild landscape with awe and inspiration. These peoples who followed the wildlife as hunters, who listened to the song of the Earth with gladness. The migrating birds filled their lives with prosperity, the lakes and oceans filled their stomachs with nutritious food, the forest plants provided berries and fruit. This is a land of plenty, to the daring adventurer whose heart sang at the challenge of living.

And what is it to live? Is it merely to survive?  visit : http://extreme.com and view a video of one of the latest extreme sports. The daring adventurer lives for the joy of climbing the mountain, swimming the lakes, canoeing the rivers, hiking and hunting and dreaming the dreams of life everlasting. Praises to the great planet! Praises for the abundance of harvest! Praises for the joy of living! This amazing ancestor had all of the necessities of life. Clean air from uncut forests, clean water from unpolluted streams, food in abundance from a land of plenty, medicines from herbal remedies available from plants. The early human was an indomitable being, strong and courageous with a will to survive and live in prosperity.   This human was a genius at survival, able to craft tools, hunt, fish and play.  This human, who dressed in skins and furs.  The civilized man who lived in settlements and built communities.

This  civilized human who had so much luxury, they could share.   Furs for clothing, furs for bedding.  Skins for clothing and  skins for furnishings.  They had so much, that they would trade and share.

Share, the land, share their prosperity, share their wealth.  They would give their children in marriage, share their culture, share their knowledge, share their wisdom of the earth.  All who were so fortunate as to befriend them would live in safety and kinship and compassion.  Share this great land.  There was plenty for all.

Plenty of land, plenty of food, plenty of resources.  Not only for the human, but for the wildlife as well.  The land was filled with wild life and the lakes and oceans were filled with aquatic species.  So  much abundance from the Earth.  No hunger to the skillful hunter.

Our fortunate ancestors came to a land of humanity.  The people had luxury and leisure.  The trade in beads for artwork was an addition to the already bountiful life of the indigenous peoples.  They had time to spare and time to work on their great works of art.  Beads were in addition to their already well developed dyes for painting, feathers, bone and skin that were used constantly in art and apparel.

The people lived in developed settlements all across the country.  A civilization of unique people with culture derived from the abundance of the Earth.

This Earth of Mankind

This Earth of Mankind (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

Greetings, you almighty one.  Praise this day!

It is a day for us!  A day to reflect on the awesome wisdom of the Almighty, the champion of mankind. A day for the praises of the Earth.  Preservation.

The national and provincial parks, the museums, the historic sites and monuments, the architecture and the culture, the wild lands and the arctic.  Preservation.  A word that is for all of us. Preserve the Earth, preserve the wildlife, preserve our history, preserve ourselves.  Save us!  That is what preservation does.

A look into our glorious past shows us a people of endurance.  Climb that mighty mountain, canoe the roaring river, travel the icecap.  All along the way, building a human of indomitable character.  The good Earth gave in abundance to the human who accessed these shores.  Here, mankind, the climate is harsh, but food is plentiful.  Here, mankind, your need to survive is high.  And the good Earth provides all.

The indigenous peoples of this country survive in one of the harshest climates in the world.  The arctic  with its 24 hour winter night and constant -zero temperature, with howling winds is a wasteland of snow and ice.  Yet here, in this frigid north is a population of daring adventurers.    The clever inventor who spied the wealth and prosperity of the snowbound land with its  summer herds of migrating caribou, the ocean filled with seal and walrus and the mighty whale.  Brilliant mankind, who noticed the abundance of the wild predator  and with the predator, there is always prey.  Wolves and polar bear thrive in these climates, with coats adapted to the cold.

But how you?  Oh ingenious one.  What genius adapted your shelter?  What specialized mind crafted your boats.  What powerful strength reals in the fish?  Almighty human, the specialist of the far northern lands.

The summer months brings a land of the tundra, roaring rivers, forests full of gullies.  The terrain is difficult.  But you, almighty man, are a specialist.  A being adapted to the natural force of this land dictated by harsh weather and irregular landscape.  You, the inventor, who created a culture in a land of adversity.  A land filled with natural opposition.  You, inspired human, who chose to inhabit this place and chose to live undaunted, your daring, adventurous life.

The people of the far north are the extreme adventurer.  The daring human, who lives with courage.  These humans, with their specialized aptitude, built a creative culture of an unusual, but brave existence in a vast land of challenge.

Awesome human!  Praises!

The  people of the far north are a unique adaptation of the inventive mind.  The specialist.  The  human who saw life there.  They saw with eyes for the beauty of the Earth.  With minds for creative adaptation.  They heard the Earth sing and listened to the wild calls of the animals.  They saw a land of plenty and greeted the day with gladness.

The great good Earth provides all.

Praises to you, mankind.

This month we celebrate the great nation that we are.  This is a nation of prosperity, of grandeur, of negotiation, of peace!  Look around yourselves!  This great land given to us by the Almighty!  This land, this great peace!  A nation founded on Love, adventure, compassion, sharing and caring. This land, in the immense universe.  This land on planet Earth.

The early explorers encountered a land of diversity.  Fabulous creation by the great planet!  A wealth of discovery to explore.  This land, cast by the hand of the Almighty.  Fabulous country.  Awesome mankind.  Who are we, but the daring adventurer.  The uncharted wilderness was only a dare, courageous human, to explore.  Courageous human to share.  Life everlasting.  No  mortal perish. One great nation, one unified force.  For preservation, for  humanity, the moral, courageous spirit of man.  Hail Braveheart.  Your bravery conquers all.

Early man, who married the indigenous people and lived.  Clever human, to   share so wisely.  To care so deeply.  To love so unconditionally.  Clever human, to build this great land.  To protect.   To preserve.  Clever human, to save the forest so the earth can breathe, to save the watershed so that the earth can cleanse itself, to save the animals so that the earth can create another miracle of an ecosystem, a miracle of life, a miracle of love.  The gift of the Almighty, to the human, was the great planet Earth, with all of the magnificence that  the Earth can create.  Lucky human, to share such a tremendous creation as the great planet Earth.

The Earth sighs,  thank you, almighty human, for protecting all of my creation.  The needs of the planet are high.

Thank you almighty human for saving the great oceans and all of the aquatic life within.  Thank you great human, for the protected airways, the protected landscapes and the protected ecosystem.

I am the great planet Earth.  Your holy ways of peace and acceptance, great human, thrive with me and we live for another day.  I am the great planet Earth, awesome mankind.  Sing with me and we express our joy, dance with me and we move in harmony.  Share with me and we dine in abundance.  Drink the waters of my pure unpolluted waterways.  Heal with me and we rid the pain.  Listen to me, almighty human.  I am the great planet Earth.  All of my creation is for the joy, the love of my being.  Care for it, great human.

Almighty Man

Almighty Man

Bonjour and Good Day!  You awesome human.

Yesterday, May 1,was the start of Preservation Month.  This is one of my favourites!

Brilliant mankind, this fabulous oasis , planet Earth, is the master of creation.  It’s the master of discovery.  It oozes life,  live, enjoy, create.  It shines with miracles.  This awesome wonder, this marvelous planet, this great good Earth, is ours to protect.

May 1 was Global Love Day.  The unfathomable Almighty cast this Earth, his own creation, into the universe.  It`s molded from particles, atoms, neurons, matter and molecules.  The Earth itself is life itself.  This is the undeniable Love.  Creation was and isn`t accidental.  It`s not a  coincidence. It`s a miracle.  Of all of the words that Love describes,  it describes miracles and Love itself is a miracle as well.

Brilliant mankind, Preservation Month is to save us.

Look into your fabulous history fabulous human.  Delve into the depths of ancient man.  The human has built his world from priceless inspiration.  Happy are we to be the adored, the much loved, the beauteous wonder of creation.  Look around you, mankind, an oasis for you.  Look into the wonder of the other awesome creation.  The much plundered oceans, with remarkable life forms, plants and animals alike.    The much plundered forest with colours, landscape, animal life so rare.  Precious are we to be the wholesome inheritors of these lands.

Our forefathers were congenial.  They were adventurous, no cowards there.  They came to this continent to build a great nation.  They found land, prosperity, love and peace.  This great nation, is a promised land.  This nation is not a conquered land, it is a nurtured land, built from peace, gratitude, sharing, compassion, kindness and love.  This great nation was built from the unity of the peoples with minds so clear, that the unity and blending of cultures melded the  peoples into one great land.  No more the tribal states, with territories defined.  No more the communication barrier from tribal dialect and language.  You, brilliant mankind, surpassed it all.  No war, no plunder, no starvation, no cowards there.  Only the bold, the daring, the sophisticated adventurer who could surpass it all.  This, you lucky great nation, is what Love builds.  This miracle of a common bond.  The bond is you.  Human.

Multiculturalism has always been our moral past, our accepted present and our cultured future.  The children of these cross cultural people are the blessing and the praises of humanitarian peoples who accepted the life bond that would save and heal and comfort and blend.  Cultures too compassionate for war.  WE the almighty human,  stood against the tidal wave of cynicism, poverty, starvation, war, rage and torment and Loved.

We are the great peoples of the Earth.  Hear us! The songs from the Earth sing, Praises mankind, you walk in holy ways.  No plunder.  No war.  Only Love in this great land.  These great people, this great gift, this great nation, built from kindness, without adversity.  Peoples who cared.  Peoples who wouldn’t let their fellow man die.  People who were human.

Brilliant mankind,  this is you.

All of the strength of your being comes to you and with it, you form nations.  You create civilization, no plunder, no war.  The immense beauty of a great landscape, a wondrous waterway, a star filled heaven.  The fabulous creatures, plants and landscapes protected by your strong arms, strong minds, strong will, strong compassion.

Brilliant mankind, you treat the planet with the love of your own companions.  Follow your awesome, never ending path.  Peace. Goodwill.  Prosperity and Love.  It conquers all.  visit www.pc.gc.ca for inspiration about our national treasures.

Your call to action:  share this post.  Delve into your brilliant multicultural heritage.  It is a joy of peaceful negotiation, compassion, humanitarianism and sharing.  Consider your own wealth and make a contribution to a charity such as www.wfp.org for strategies to end world hunger.   Follow the well worn path of your ancestor into the life of the great unknown landscape.

Follow the path with courage and humanity, you daring human.  You must.
