The First day of Summer

The First day of Summer

Happy Solstice!

Hail bravehearts, to the dawning of this new day.   A day of light and summer.  A day of celebration.  A day of wonder and awe.  Today the sun shines most brightly on the great planet and casts it’s warm rays of heat and light upon us. Today is the longest day.

Here, in our part of the world, we will have daylight till after 11 pm and the sun will rise brightly  early in the morning.  It is a day of joy and celebration as the great Earth spins its way into another summer.

Summer!  The season of holidays, heat, gardens, barbeques and  the great outdoors.  This is the season where we also shed our warm winter attire and bask in the glorious sunshine.  A season for sunscreen and insect repellent, beaches and bathing suites. The time of year of the carefree summer days, the long and relaxing days of summer life and summer play.  The warm sunshine calls us  from our homes and beckons us to leave our comfortable nests and step into the world of the great outdoors.

Summer!  The blessings of the sun as it shines upon us and fills our world with green and color.  Warm.  It is now the time of warm!

The feeling of your body as it wakes to a dawn of bright light.  Come!  calls the sunshine.  Rise and shine with me.  Come outside and play in the warm, dazzling light and feel the splendor of this great new day.  Come, feel the joy of summer, the blooming of the Earth, the warmth of the lakes and the cool of the fresh waters.  Come outside to feel the joy of summer, with it’s heat and fragrance and the freshness of the rain.  Smell the newly cut grass and the warm summer breezes, feel the warm wind in your face and the cool splashes of rain water.  The planet has changed itself again today, and the lazy air of restful summer is upon us.

http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-wiltshire-33211353  summer solstice at Stonehenge

From the time of ancient man, the dawn of summer has been celebrated on a day in June, when the day is the longest.  A day when all of the crops are planted and the time is marked by the long length of daylight.  A day to celebrate the life that the earth gives and the superb placement of this celestial planet as it passes near to the sun in it’s yearly orbit around our life giving  shining star.

The reason for stonehenge is still a mystery,  but the placements of the stones indicate the celebration of summer as the sun rises and it’s light shines in a specific path. The huge rocks placed in a sort of circle where people can gather  to watch the rising sun and marvel at the brilliant idea of this festive day.  To be a witness to the first light shone upon the Earth on this glorious day of sunshine and daylight.

Lucky for us to be in such a place, in such a time, to live in such a place as this.  A world full of wonder and history.  A world full of awe and excitement.  A world where mysterious ancient man, rose to celebrate the first rays of dawn on the longest day of the year.  Lucky for us, that today is a new day,  a new season.  Welcome to summer!

The New Planet

The New Planet

Hail Brave hearts!

This glorious day of the risen lord brings peace and hope to a weary world.
The earth moans under the weight of 7 billion humans. All of the rest of its creation needs room to grow. Room for trees and plants and landscapes, room for animals and birds and insects. The awesome creative powers of the planet need to be expressed. Like the fine aptitude of an artist, needing to paint a brilliant canvas, the earth needs to cover it’s surfaces with beauty and colour and life. Awesome great planet with life giving forces. The beautiful great planet surrounds us with nature. Each and every delicate balance, a life sustaining act. The trees, recycling the carbon dioxide of our breaths and returning fresh, clean oxygen into the air. The trees, our life support system for clean air. 7 billion breathing humans, destroying forests, up routing plants, filling in ponds, covering the earth with pavement, building, building, building.
Hail, you awesome human! The earth struggles to support you, struggles to feed and nurture you, struggles to provide air for you, clean water and good food. The self destructive human, unthinking in it’s quest for income, housing and land, destroys the very thing that provides the most. Hail, to the almighty human, who protects the only thing that we have in the universe, the mighty great planet earth.
So much taken for granted, so much destroyed for no reason, so much loss of habitat and loss of life, human, wildlife, plant life. From the tops of the mountains to the depth of the oceans, the environmental destruction is severe.
In myth, the world of the gods lies in the heavens, in science fiction aliens inhabit other planets. In reality, will that save us here. The awesome mind of science tells us that there is a possibility of life on other planets. The constant search of the heavens and the universe for life sustaining planets, challenges us to think outside of this small, rotating sphere of life and look to the possibilities of new life among the stars. Our imagination takes us in leaps of wonder and anticipation. Could it be real? Could we live somewhere else? What would it be like?

http://www.cbc.ca/news/technology/earth-sized-planet-found-in-star-s-habitable-zone-1.2613794 The new planet.

Now,at last, there is a possibility. An earth like planet, found only 500 light years away. We could escape this rotting, dying, war torn, diseased, overpopulated earth and escape into our spaceships and be gone! Gone to the heavens, gone to the perils of the universe, into the last great frontier of human experience. We’ve done it all here. The dying planet entertains us no more.
Off to the greatest challenge of our lives! Off to discover the universe and inhabit the new world. Like our ancestors before us, the age of discovery is upon us. Like Marco Polo, Christopher Columbus, Francis Drake and the Apollo Astronauts, we can pack our bags and venture forth again. Into the great unknown, to prove that the universe is not flat, but we can navigate it and we will not fall off.
Hail, to you almighty human! Flee the dying planet and explore the universe. You only have 500 light years to go.

The Viking

The Viking

Hail Mankind.  This beautiful, bright day is upon us.

The shrouded mystery of centuries old man, sheds light on the brilliant aptitudes that surround us.  Where does he come from?  That leader of man. The compelling courage that draws us to the adventure, too difficult to be dared.  All faith and acceptance of an inspired human who has an unusual calling.  Come!  He becons and they rise with courage.  The challenge is worthwhile.  Yes, they will pursue the dream and live and die the dream, for only dreams are the reality of the adventurer.

Come, to the far off land and travel they did.  The voyage of discovery took them to Iceland, where their colony lasted.  It took them to Greenland where their colony lasted as well and it took them to the shores of Canada, where they stayed for a short few years then left.  The 300 years of Viking exploration and discovery, ended with a distraction of a new influence that changed their lives.  No longer the raiding parties of fierce combatants, they now settled into a quiet existence of a different mankind. No more the plunder, the destruction, the victorious wars.  No more the seafaring exploits to new lands and new promise.  No more the grand adventure to the continent of the Americas.  Now, the world has changed and the aggressive raiding war parties vanished.

Who were you, almighty man, with superior technology.  The navigational skills, the shipbuilding the technologies, the skills, the passion and the courage.  The life of these daring adventurer were mainly farmers.  After centuries of dauntless adventure, they returned to their homeland and the soil.

http://www.visitnorway.com/

A new lord reigned and he commanded a different presence.  The serene life of tranquility and abundance from a god of a different countenance.  No more the war faring indulgence and exploits of courage.  Now, a different kind of courage.

It would be 400 years before the Europeans voyaged across the ocean again.

Still, in the minds of the voyageur, there is the skilled shipbuilder of the past.  The present casts its eyes on the whole world and travels the seas once more.  The adventure is still the calling, but the  craft and character has changed.  Now the plunder is in the eye of the beholder, in cameras and paintings and craft.  The shipbuilder of the past has become the streamliner of the present.  From travelling with slaves to sailing with dignitaries the ocean liner is now the fleet of the present human.

From ancient skills to modern vessels this ancient man has somehow remained.  The ocean still calls them, the high seas are still their home.  Come with us, they call us, be our guests.  Welcome.

http://www.ncl.com/

The grandeur of the past presents itself in the glorious present.  The seas are our home. Join us.  This is who we are today.

A Colony

A Colony

Good morning all you awesome beings.  It’s another day of creation and grandeur.  Another day of bold inspirations and  undertakings.

Hear the call, as the earth awakens.  It becons us.  Rise, mankind, your call to another fabulous day.

Here, sighs the great planet, as another morning approaches, another sun climbs into the sky, another day unfolds before us.  Here, almighty human, is another day, for you.  For your quest, for your courage, for your heart, for your adventure.  Inspired human, with such magnificent aptitude, leadership, knowledge, strength and skills.  You, who rise above the rest and say, follow me, follow me, follow me to the ends of the earth, to the end of time. Oh mortal man, with mortal life, follow me into the unknown.  Follow me into dread and peril.  Follow me into dark and danger.  Follow me, for I am the leader and you are my dutiful subjects.  Follow me.

http://www.history.com/shows/Vikings

Their greatly skilled leader chose a formidable route, through the high seas to lands of unpromising abundance.  Weather, snow, hardship and toil.  The lands were harsh, the landscape difficult, the weather unbearable, the oceans high and tumultuous, wind, current, rain.  Still to travel on, to voyage of discovery, to tales of heroic triumph, to be the unbeatable foe.  The quest was immense, the distance overwhelming, the hero an uncanny mortal man.

We’ll colonize here, demands the mighty leader and the deathly, dread of the dutiful subjects acknowledge their plight.  Yes, they will stay.  In this unknown place, their fate is sealed.

http://www.pc.gc.ca/eng/lhn-nhs/nl/meadows/index.aspx

For a few spectacular years they foraged in the forest, built their small community, reaped a harvest and stayed in the strange, far off land of shrouded mystery.  Yes, these stalwarts survived.  The first landing, the first colony, the first nation to set foot on the land of plenty.  The colonization was successful.  They survived the  winter and the warm, vibrant summer.  They proved their strength, their superiority, their skills and their might.  These early inhabitants from the north sea proved their creative genius, their will to survive, their superior strength of mind and body.  They felt the swell of pride in their chests, the song of glory in their hearts.  Victory!  The thrill of achievement.  They were the almighty man!  The courageous adventurer, the indomitable foe!.

And then they left.

Home, cries the heart.  Home cries the soul.  Home cries the spirit and with the homesick heart of man, came the compelling urge to abandon.  They left.

400 years would pass before another from their continent would traverse the high seas to these far off lands.  The year is 1000 AD.  The people were farmers from the Scandinavian countries.  Farmers, who dared to be sailors.

Without their heroic leader, they no longer had the desire or the inclination to set their sights on destinies unknown.  No longer the urge to explore uncharted waters, to discover great continents.  No longer the will or the drive to mount an expedition of men to pursue the call to adventure.

Now, they were quiet.  The gift of that great spirit of man that moved them to acts of tremendous courage had parted.  They waited in quiet anticipation for another.  Who would lead them on?  Their memories of grandeur moved them.  Dare we?  Should we?  A leader was needed.  Their patience was uneasy.  The adventure was necessary.  A new leader was needed,  but the leader didn’t come.

The Brave

The Brave

To be brilliant, we need a forum for our aptitude.  An arena to vocalize in some manner.  We need a contingency of experts to hear us, to applaud, to praise and to acknowledge.  We need our voices to be heard.

Through the thousands of years of human history, our voices have been acknowledged by our fellow man.  Hear us, we call to each other, our splendid negotiations keep  peace amongst us and our lives never fail.

SSSh!  There’s a secret.  Our technologies are superior.  The vast oceans have been transversed and a new land is discovered.  Our superior technologies and our superior negotiations surpass all.  We are the bold adventurers who discovered a new continent.  It’s not an island, it’s a land mass.  The oceans surrounding it’s shores are filled with sealife.  So much food, we’ll never starve.  Our nets are cast and they never come up empty.  They overflow!  Food.  Food for everyone and perhaps, a colony?

http://www.history-timelines.org.uk/places-timelines/09-canadian-history-timeline.htm

The first adventurer to discover this land, the bold, the daring, the brave.  So much courage to set sail for sights unknown, to travel the great distance with such obvious perils, yet to persevere.  On and on to travel (with lost confusion?) possibly.  Hopeless, forlorn?  To battle the waves, the wind, the current, the time, the hunger, the fear.  Yet to travel on.  Somewhere, there will be shelter.

The new land was a relief and by the skills of their intelligence, they could find it again.  Technological experts of their time, they were equipped for sea travel.  The ocean was also a home, of sorts, so familiar, so abundant.  It kept the sailors perpetually occupied.  So much to see, so much to know.  Exceptional navigators, they always had their berings right.  The life of the sailor was the life of a daring, unsurpassed adventurer.  So much to know, so much to experience.  The navigator, the sailor, the specialist at wind and current, the immense expanse of universe in the stars, the far off places, the challenge of unknown people, places, language, culture. The superior call to a daring, brilliant mankind, who dared it all.

Yes! The call to the wild.  Yes! the call to a challenge beyond the ability of the average man.  Yes!  The call to the dauntless, bold adventurer whose bravery was unparalleled.  Yes!  To find new continents.  Yes!  To find new treasurers.  Yes!  To the wealth of knowledge, wealth and treasures of the world.

No to anarchy.  No to slavery. No, to life that is complacent, quiet.  No to the homebody.  Yes, only to the adventure and whatever life its brings!

They will travel the seven seas.  They will forge new relationships.  They  will conquer new lands.  They will swim in unchartered waters.  All perils will be overcome!  Yes!  They will achieve,  Yes!  They will.  Nothing will stop the relentless adventurer!  Nothing will quench that spirit!

They paddled their ships to the new world.  They paddled for discovery.  Later they sailed.

Hail mankind.  The brilliant fortitude that gives  you the strength to travel onward, gives you the courage to persevere.

Praises mankind, for all you’re worth.

Good Day, You Awesome Human

Are you ready for this day?  This day is the start of the adventure of your life.  Look into your mind, almighty human, your destiny awaits you there.  An image will form, that presents itself to you.  This is your guide.  It will lead you in the direction of your calling.  Follow your guide.  Your guide will put you in the place, in the field of study and in your correct aptitude.  Your own brilliant mind will show you the way.  Follow.  This is your path, your calling.  This is your life.

Today is a day for the joy of living.  Stretch your legs and follow your path.  It calls to you endlessly.  Listen! calls your own brilliant mind.  I will show you the way.

Since the dawn of man, experts have arisen amongst us.  They’ve always known where their destiny lies, they’ve always followed a course somehow set in their minds, they’ve always known what to choose, where their place is, what environment to seek, which people to seek out, what  courses to take.   They take initiative and make their own decisions.  They follow that inner path that is so compelling.  It draws them.  It pulls them to achieve.  Listen to that call, it resides in your mind.

The dauntless human that carved his way through the landscape of this land, was called to adventure.  The life of the daring pioneer, who could surpass the obstacles of weather, crop failure, isolation, weakness and poor health.  A strong and mighty human, with will and courage.  This was the call to the new world.  It was a call of passion.  Come.  almighty human!  Come, you daring adventurer!

And come they did.  To the land of plenty.  A promise of sorts.  Land and prosperity.  Freedom.   This will be your great reward.  A whole new world, a whole new life, a new beginning.  Come, brilliant mankind, come to the adventure of your life.

The land was immense.  The forests, virtually untouched.  A rugged and sparsely populated land with dangers yet unknown.  The place was isolated, so, so very far from home.  Far from civilization as they knew it, far from friends, family, comfort, care.  Far away in a time of its own.  A far off place.  A proven point, now mute.  Who, but the most daring would set foot on this unknown land?

Come into the forest, calls the wild.  The mighty adventurer came ashore.

http://www.canadahistory.com/timeline.asp

The oceans were filled with fishes.  Each cast of the nets were laden with fish.  Food.  Food for the hungry back home.  The land was filled with wildlife unheard of and previously unseen.  Meat and pelts  for markets back  home.  Home.  The lonely hearts of that daring man, turned their gaze back to the sea.  Home.  The strength of their own homeland compelled them and they re boarded their ships and sailed for  home.

Their journey of a lifetime left its mark on their brilliant minds.  Next time.  The land called to them, come again and in their minds they heard a voice.  Next time.  A relationships was near at hand between the mighty adventurer and the new, immense land.

They would come again.

Mothers Day

Mothers Day

Happy day to you, goddesses.  A day set aside for wonderful you.

Happy are we to be the gifts that you bear.  Joyous are we to be the praises that you sing.  Delighted are we to be the blessings that you desire.  Gladness fills our lives when we please you and great joy is ours when you admire us.

Mothers are the centre of our creation.  They are the focal points of our lives.  From our tiniest beings, the survival of our own creation comes from our mothers.  Nurture and care.

The whole world of mothers in nurture and care.

What do we think of when we think of mothers?  The goddess of creation whose womb protected us.  Where we lay growing in blissful secrecy.  Here the dark chamber of creation surrounds us, protects us, nurtures us, helps us to grow.  The safe compartment of creation. The gift of life itself.

The growing child is secure.  Life surrounds us and the awakening dawn of birth is a miracle to us.  We live!

Gratitude fills us with trust, we honour and obey.  Cleverness abounds with your teaching.  Wonder inspires us and awe awakens in our minds with your wisdom.  Heal us, we know you can.

Brilliant creator, from the dawn of time your heartbeat echoes in our minds.  Our aptitudes soar with your genius.  Your aspirations strengthen us and our minds lock into the key of our being.

Trust and obey.  The call of the human is a call to all aptitudes.  All minds focused in the community of the planet.  All hearts beating for the gift of salvation.  All souls nurtured for the gift of everlasting life.

Gifts to us, for being a child and gifts to you for being a wonder.

Praises to you, almighty goddess.  Mothering is a gift from the Almighty.

Mothers

Mothers

Mothers

In celebration of the day of creation, a day for mothers.

What do we call you, oh wise one?  Where all of life comes from.  Do we call you mother Earth?  All of creation comes from your awesome powers.  The power to create, to bring life to the planet, to nurture and care. From the tiny seed of creation to the full magnificent adult, nurture and care.

The mothers responsibility is to nurture, to create, to protect, to love and to  care for the mortal life that it creates.  It’s a mother to us all.

The great creative force that produces life is a wonder, an inspiration, a blessing.  It is Awe!  To be so immense that life itself is the reason for its existence.  The existence of creation, of life.

The force of the great planet produces life in abundance and variety all throughout its landscapes.  It produces life and adapts life for existence in harsh landscapes and in bountiful, beautiful landscapes.  It produces life at the extremes of the planet, the cold far poles, the deep depths of the oceans, the high towering alpine.  All of creation must be inhabited somehow.  By a plant, an insect, an animal, a fish, a reptile, a human.  All of the Earth is covered with life forms.  If we can’t live there, we still go there.

Awesome planet, the seed of creation is yours.  Natural discovery can’t surpass you.  Exploration of all aptitudes can’t unravel the mighty, mysterious spark that ignites the seed and takes it from a sterile isolated self to a fertilized explosion of being.  A life!  Whatever it is.  As much as humanity delves into the mystery of creation, that spark is still the accepted unexplained.  Life itself is the accepted unexplained.

We, the mighty human are your creation.   The great planet Earth produces life according to the needs of the planet.  It needs all of its creation, like all mothers need all of their children.  All of the diverse ecosystems, all of the diverse climate, all of the diverse waterways, landscapes, animal life, plant life, airways, minerals and resources.  The great planet Earth produced it all and the great planet Earth needs it all in order to survive.

Unsurpassed human, the almighty man, on this great day of creation, praises!

Praises to the life giving force of creation, to the soul of mankind, to the immense aptitudes of brilliant minds and logical thinking.  Praises for life everlasting and to the eternal well being of the planet.  Save yourselves, oh  awesome human.  Treat your mother with care.  She can’t live without you.

Visit http://www.cwf-fcf.org for the salvation of the mothers of the Earth.  They so desperately need your compassion.

Of all of the forces that created one small infant, magnified a gazilion times, in so many ways.  Love of a human one to another.  A cherished gift of life itself.  A  human life, so precious.  Life itself.

Life, to the planet, is survival itself.  Creation of life forms is salvation to the planet.  It needs what it creates to survive.

What is the force that binds us, oh almighty human.  Is it characteristics, sharing an ecosystem, a development?  Or is it something more  profound.  Is it nurture and care, great human?  What sets us apart on  the planet also binds us to the planet.  The Earth is the mother of creation.   Care for our great mother and she will care for us.

Greetings, you almighty one.  Praise this day!

It is a day for us!  A day to reflect on the awesome wisdom of the Almighty, the champion of mankind. A day for the praises of the Earth.  Preservation.

The national and provincial parks, the museums, the historic sites and monuments, the architecture and the culture, the wild lands and the arctic.  Preservation.  A word that is for all of us. Preserve the Earth, preserve the wildlife, preserve our history, preserve ourselves.  Save us!  That is what preservation does.

A look into our glorious past shows us a people of endurance.  Climb that mighty mountain, canoe the roaring river, travel the icecap.  All along the way, building a human of indomitable character.  The good Earth gave in abundance to the human who accessed these shores.  Here, mankind, the climate is harsh, but food is plentiful.  Here, mankind, your need to survive is high.  And the good Earth provides all.

The indigenous peoples of this country survive in one of the harshest climates in the world.  The arctic  with its 24 hour winter night and constant -zero temperature, with howling winds is a wasteland of snow and ice.  Yet here, in this frigid north is a population of daring adventurers.    The clever inventor who spied the wealth and prosperity of the snowbound land with its  summer herds of migrating caribou, the ocean filled with seal and walrus and the mighty whale.  Brilliant mankind, who noticed the abundance of the wild predator  and with the predator, there is always prey.  Wolves and polar bear thrive in these climates, with coats adapted to the cold.

But how you?  Oh ingenious one.  What genius adapted your shelter?  What specialized mind crafted your boats.  What powerful strength reals in the fish?  Almighty human, the specialist of the far northern lands.

The summer months brings a land of the tundra, roaring rivers, forests full of gullies.  The terrain is difficult.  But you, almighty man, are a specialist.  A being adapted to the natural force of this land dictated by harsh weather and irregular landscape.  You, the inventor, who created a culture in a land of adversity.  A land filled with natural opposition.  You, inspired human, who chose to inhabit this place and chose to live undaunted, your daring, adventurous life.

The people of the far north are the extreme adventurer.  The daring human, who lives with courage.  These humans, with their specialized aptitude, built a creative culture of an unusual, but brave existence in a vast land of challenge.

Awesome human!  Praises!

The  people of the far north are a unique adaptation of the inventive mind.  The specialist.  The  human who saw life there.  They saw with eyes for the beauty of the Earth.  With minds for creative adaptation.  They heard the Earth sing and listened to the wild calls of the animals.  They saw a land of plenty and greeted the day with gladness.

The great good Earth provides all.

Praises to you, mankind.
